So I have jumped on the bandwagon of creating small square paintings. It's really fun and a great way to loosen up without the pressure of a major painting. These are the three most recent ones- they are 8 x 8" acrylics.
So nice to see the progress on your new studio! Will have to check it out when I'm down sometime in the spring.
Am jumping on that bandwagon myself. Ordered 8x8 wood panels from Currys, $3.25 each on sale right now. Checked them out at Opus to see how they're made. Will make them myself after Christmas as we'll have the barn all set up as a wood shop. The big ones are so expensive it will be a lot cheaper that way.
Love the ones you've posted here...they all look so fresh!
Merry Christmas and much love to you and Alan...have a great time in Mexico.
I have been a full time artist for over 30 years. I live in a small village outside Vancouver with my husband Alan, who is also an artist. I love to paint and I love to teach people how to paint. When I'm not painting, my favorite thing to do is spend time outdoors with my dog, Havoc.
